Do you know a child with a physical disability who could be the face and voice of Easter Seals Ontario?
Each year, Easter Seals designates outstanding young individuals to represent children and youth with physical disabilities across Ontario as our Provincial Ambassadors.
Provincial Ambassadors have the opportunity to speak in front of audiences at major Easter Seals events, be interviewed by media for television, radio and newspaper coverage, meet-and-greet celebrities, meet other Easter Seals youth and past Ambassadors, and attend unique and fun events. The role is an excellent opportunity for youth to develop public speaking skills, gain confidence, acquire new skills and more.
Criteria:
- Be between the ages of 9 and 17 years old
- Interested in representing Easter Seals Ontario and children and youth with physical disabilities
- Is enthusiastic, well-spoken, likes to speak to people and in front of audiences
- Willing to travel with their parents to events across Ontario (approximately once per month)
The application process for Provincial Ambassadors typically begins in mid August with the final selection being made in late fall.
