To Our Client Families
I am writing to inform you about Easter Seals Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The health, safety and well being of our clients, supporters, and employees is our highest priority. We are monitoring all communication from the Government of Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, Ontario Public Health, and the World Health Organization (WHO) to remain current on this evolving situation.
To help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Easter Seals Ontario has temporarily closed our offices to the public as of Tuesday, March 17, 2020, until further notice. However, we remain committed to the families who rely on our programs and services.
We continue to process applications and payments for all of our programs, and our staff are available to answer questions. We will do our very best to respond to enquiries as quickly as possible; however, clients may experience delays, and we ask for your patience and understanding during this time.
While we continue to anticipate our 2020 camp program will run as usual, if we find it necessary to make changes in the coming weeks, we will post updates on our website and notify impacted families directly.
Easter Seals Ontario follows the guidance of Public Health Ontario in implementing best practices and effective protocols for dealing with communicable diseases that may occur at camp, including COVID-19. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
You can find contact information for all of our programs on our Services website.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, any updates to our programs and services will be shared on our website and social media channels.
Again, we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and support.

Sincerely,
Kevin J. Collins
